1. ENGAGED
NO ONE IS STARING AT YOU, I promised myself. No one is staring at you. No one is staring at you.
But, because I couldn't lie convincingly even to myself, I had to check.
As I sat waiting for one of the three traffic lights in town to turn green, I peeked to the right — in her minivan, Mrs. Weber had turned her whole torso in my direction. Her eyes bored into mine, and I flinched back, wondering why she didn't drop her gaze or look ashamed. It was still considered rude to stare at people, wasn't it? Didn't that apply to me anymore?
Then I remembered that these windows were so darkly tinted that she probably had no idea if it was even me in here, let alone that I'd caught her looking. I tried to take some comfort in the fact that she wasn't really staring at me, just the car.
My car. Sigh.
I glanced to the left and groaned. Two pedestrians were frozen on the sidewalk, missing their chance to cross as they stared. Behind them, Mr. Marshall was gawking through the plate glass window of his little souvenir shop. At least he didn't have his nose pressed up against the glass. Yet.
The light turned green and, in my hurry to escape, I stomped on the gas pedal without thinking — the normal way I would have punched it to get my ancient Chevy truck moving.
Engine snarling like a hunting panther, the car jolted forward so fast that my body slammed into the black leather seat and my stomach flattened against my spine.
''Arg!'' I gasped as I fumbled for the brake. Keeping my head, I merely tapped the pedal. The car lurched to an absolute standstill anyway.
I couldn't bear to look around at the reaction. If there had been any doubt as to who was driving this car before, it was gone now. With the toe of my shoe, I gently nudged the gas pedal down one half millimeter, and the car shot forward again.
I managed to reach my goal, the gas station. If I hadn't been running on vapors, I wouldn't have come into town at all. I was going without a lot of things these days, like Pop-Tarts and shoelaces, to avoid spending time in public.
Moving as if I were in a race, I got the hatch open, the cap off, the card scanned, and the nozzle in the tank within seconds. Of course, there was nothing I could do to make the numbers on the gauge pick up the pace. They ticked by sluggishly, almost as if they were doing it just to annoy me.
It wasn't bright out — a typically drizzly day in Forks, Washington — but I still felt like a spotlight was trained on me, drawing attention to the delicate ring on my left hand. At times like this, sensing the eyes on my back, it felt as if the ring were pulsing like a neon sign: Look at me, look at me.
It was stupid to be so self-conscious, and I knew that. Besides my dad and mom, did it really matter what people were saying about my engagement? About my new car? About my mysterious acceptance into an Ivy League college? About the shiny black credit card that felt red-hot in my back pocket right now?
''Yeah, who cares what they think,'' I muttered under my breath.

Life in the Land of Lakes
Dear like my people.
Today I chose to try a different approach to blogging! Letter STYLE!! So I shall sign my name at the end! Ok about today..it's Sunday so you can guess what I spent my morning doing! Church!! Until like ...12ish then we had KFC for lunch - which is bad for me cuz I'm trying to be a vegitarian ( will expand!) - uhh..yum? Ok so the really fun thing about today was the irony in church when my pastor - let's call him ...JOE - preached on Galatians for the 15th time in a row ( not counting holidays)! So .. that was especially dull so irony wasn't really the correct word.. Ok I watched 2 movies today one being 27 Dresses !! I laughed through most of the movie. And I we watched Enchanted ( I slept throught most of this one -_-).. Ok so I was reading through some blogs on the internet ( obviously enough) and I came across quite a few that cover political views as well as lifestyles...so I decided to try telling you guys some of my polictical thoughts ( :P ). Ok so the presidential election !! I will cover this one today! But I will cover them one day at a time ( ONE!! Just one !!)
If possible who would you vote for to be the President, of these three candidates: Hiliary Clinton, Barack Obama, or John McCain
Hilary Clinton
Ok so you don't delude yourselfves into thinking I would vote for her because she is a girl I will say this once and only once! I WOULD VOTE FOR CLINTON EVEN IF SHE WAS A BOY! Ok now that, that is out I will explain my choice...well for starters Obama is .. kinda a communist and in my opinon that's a little insane.. ( explain in later blogs) And McCain is... to republican or to radical in his beliefs for our economy. So the happy medium of the three is Clinton! So there. Thats my reasoning!

My first Blog
Ok..uh...This is like my first blog ever... so give me a break if I mess this up REALLY bad..Alright..now that we are past that I guess I start to tell you guys a little about me..and what I uh..do? Umm..I am around 10-14 years old and I live in the Eastern time zone..My life is really interesting, well it is in my opinion anyway..Well I go to a charter school..let's call it-
Temecula Preparatory School- TPS for short. In my grade we have about 75 students ( it's a small school) and I am the class rep. Well I was this year anyway..Next year I might not be, but I know what I will be next year, next year I plan to try-out for cheerleading. I never really gave it much thought other than jumping around and yelling. But recently I watched the "Bring It On" movies from ABC Family, and I saw it for what it really is - a true art - or maybe thats a misinterpertation it might me a dance, but whatever.. Ok my brother has his birthday in 10 days and my family bought him a PSP, the special Darth Vader limited edition with Star Wars: Battle Front. But the problem is - not that I am not happy for him - his birthday isn't for 10 more days, so I take this as not fair.. But that's minor so other things now..Uh.. I have like this problem with one of my friends - my clique: Miley, Kara, Gwen ( Gwenevere), Amanda, and Rosalie - Amanda..she like got mad at Gwen when she smacked her arm ( sunburn ). And she like refuses to talk to her, and when we ( the rest of the clique ) tried to talk to her about it she started ignoring us.. So if you have some help leave it in the comments..cuz I like have to go on a date with Edward!!! Bye TTYL
